Our Community

Meet the Executive Director,
Ross Segel

With nearly 20 years of diverse experience, Ross holds an MBA from the University of Denver. After returning home to be near his family, he has excelled in national sales, founded a business, and managed a global company, yet he still feels a void in his career.

The Covid-19 pandemic prompted Ross to reassess his priorities and seek a higher purpose. In 2020, he transitioned to senior care, where he found his true calling. In 2022, he earned his CBRF License, enhancing his expertise. Ross brings exceptional people management skills, compassion, and enthusiasm to Heartis Village. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Team Member Training

Team member training is crucial in senior living as it ensures team members are well-equipped to provide high-quality care and support to residents. Proper training enhances employees' understanding of residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs, fostering a safe and compassionate environment.
